Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Aridika Research Lab OÜ (“Aridika”) uses on aridika.com/ and the dashboard, what each one does, how long each one lasts, and how you can control them. It is published alongside, and should be read with, our politique de confidentialité.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags, web beacons, and software development kit (SDK) identifiers in our mobile apps. For brevity, we use “cookie” throughout this policy to cover all of them.
2. How we categorise cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to function — authentication, session integrity, security, CSRF protection, fraud prevention. These cannot be disabled.
- Functional cookies remember your preferences — language, time zone, dashboard layout, risk-profile selection. Disabling them makes the site less convenient.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are read, which buttons are clicked, where sessions end. We use first-party analytics by default and set these only after your consent.
- Marketing cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and (where applicable) to retarget visitors on third-party platforms. Set only after your consent.

4. How to control cookies
On your first visit, Aridika shows a cookie banner that lets you accept all, reject all non-essential, or configure your choices by category. You can reopen the banner at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings — the EDPB maintains a central resource for the main browsers. Note that fully disabling cookies will prevent you from logging in to the dashboard.
5. Do-not-track and Global Privacy Control
Aridika honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of non-essential cookies and sale/share for California residents. We do not currently rely on the deprecated DNT header.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. For material changes we also update the cookie banner.
